My name is Satvik Desai and I am in 9th grade. I am most passionate about Mental Health advocacy, and I am the social chair in my group. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, listening to music, running, swimming, and cooking. This year I am most excited to help people destigmatize mental health and mental health workers. My advocacy allows people to recognize that mental health plays an important role in people's lives and is a source of problems. Destigmatizing mental health workers is important to reduce negativity around careers in mental health and boost mental health in our community in general.
